Frozen Flame by Rainbow Honey

Wow, I love this nail polish! The packaging was AWESOME, I didn’t want to open it. The polish  was super easy to apply and the glitter was abundant. I did 3 thin coats because I like glitter! 🙂

I couldn’t decide on a color so I did each nail a differently.

The index in Julep  Charlotte, the middle finger is China Glaze turned up turquoise, the ring finger is  Sephora by Opi (unknown name) and the pinky is Spoiled permission to proceed. I smoothed everything over with 2 coats of Seche Vite.

I had this mani on for about a week. It held up great, minimal tip wear and chips. I was sad to take it off, it was so fun!

Here is my thumb with the only orange polish I have, its from a Nail Ritz nail art kit. 😛 ( im not a big orange fan) But I did love this!

You can buy Rainbow Honey on Etsy. She is currently on vacation but will be back 5/4. Hey, that’s Friday!

Oh and here is a picture of the awesome double rainbow that I saw over the weekend. How funny, it fits perfectly with this post! ha-ha 🙂

Loreal Club Prive

I picked up a bottle of Loreal Color Riche nail polish in Club Prive last night while I was at Wal-Mart. I have been eyeing this color for quite a while and thought I would give it a try. I am really glad I did, the color is pretty flattering on my glow-in-the-dark white skin tone! The application was pretty good, I did two nice coats and it was still a bit streaky. You would need three coats to have a nice even color.  The brush was nice and I had an easy time painting my nails.

I applied a coat of Seche Vite so my nails would dry quickly and I could get to the stamping. For the stamping I used my new Cheeky plates I ordered from Amazon. I used plate C and you can find the set here.

The plates are big, around the size of a piece of paper. There were 30 images on the plate I used and I did a different design on each finger. I used Milani Black Magic for the images, which is a nice one coat black creme. The images were nice and big which made stamping really easy. One thing I did notice is I had to use a lot of polish to get a good clean image. I think it was due to the size of the images, which are large and  the depth of the etchings but it was worth it to achieve the cool designs. The images are crisp and clean which is surprising giving the amount of details in the plates.

I finished my nails with a nice coat of Essie Matte About You. This was my first time using a matte top coat and I LOVE it! It was so fun to see my nails go from shiny to matte in a matter of seconds. I smudged my index finger on my first try but learned from my boo boo and used less pressure on the rest of my nails. Overall I am very happy with this look and I can’t wait to play around with my new plates!

Sorry my hands are so dry! I was using pure acetone and my hands hate it.
